Songs of the Celtic Mass: St. Patrick's Day to Debut in March 2012!

Teri will release her fourth CD in March 2012, Songs of the Celtic Mass: St. Patrick's Day. Teri is again joined by Grammy nominated musician, Abe Marcor, who adds his considerable musical talents as musician, vocalist, arranger, and mixer. Parishioners of Teri's home church, Our Mother of Sorrows (OMOS) in Tucson, Arizona, will recognize Mass parts and songs performed over the years as Teri has served as cantor for the annual St. Patrick's Day Celtic Community Mass and as cantor for the former Celtic Chorale.

Songs include Mass parts and songs composed by Ireland's own Liam Lawton, referred to as the liturgical River Dance, a lovely rendition of a traditional Gaelic blessing set to music by Bill Douglas, and a special Celtic Our Father arranged by Teri to a traditional Irish tune. Traditional favorites include The Bells of the Angelus, Hail Glorious St. Patrick, Danny Boy, and the always moving Lady of Knock.
The CD ends on a high note with the traditional Erin Gra Mo Chroi (Ireland Love of My Heart) and the contemporary You Raise Me Up, first performed by Norway's Secret Garden, and made famous by Josh Grobin and Celtic Woman. Bring out the hankies!

Other CDs by Teri include:
Evening Song (2011): http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/teri
Where Heaven Meets Earth (2005): http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/teriwoods2
Tucson to Tir na nOg (2003): http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/teriwoods

Save the date now for the Annual St. Patrick's Day Community Celtic Mass at Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Tucson, Arizona on Saturday, March 17th, 2012! Traditional music and dance begin at 8:00 am, followed immediately by the Mass at 8:30 am.
